(Q) Phenylethylamine... is it the same as the amino acid phenylalanine?
(A) No, Phenylethylamine (PEA) is a neurotransmitter like norepinephrine etc. It shares a name so closely related to the amino acid phenylalanine because that is the amino acid base used to synthesize the compound.

(Q) Doesn’t PEA have really poor oral bioavailability?
(A) Yeah, it is oxidized by MAO-B before it reaches the brain. This is why we include hordenine in the ingredient profile – it inhibits MAO-B, allowing PEA to get to the brain and exert its effects on mood elevation and energy promotion.

(Q) Can I stack BASIC CUTS™ with ephedrine?
(A) We don’t recommend this, nor do we feel it to be necessary due to BASIC CUTS™ stimulatory effect alone, but theoretically you could, yes.

(Q) Which ingredient is the catalyst behind BASIC CUTS™? Or is it the synergy from all combined?
(A) It is the combination. If you read the write-up, you will see that PEA needs the hordenine to really exert its effects, and the caffeine and cayenne pepper have synergistic qualities when combined with regards to energy expenditure and appetite suppression.

(Q) So why call it “basic”?
(A) It is meant to signify the cost-effectiveness of the Designer Stackables product, but after receiving the abundance of amazing feedback on it, maybe we sold it short a little.

(Q) How would you compare this product to Chocamine? It seems to work similarly, except with more emphasis on the PEA (which is supposedly rendered mostly useless in chocamine).
(A) It is our opinion that we have taken the best part of chocamine, made it more active, and added some synergistic fat-loss and stimulant-based compounds. We considered chocamine as one of the ingredients; it did not make the final cut.

(Q) How well does BASIC CUTS™ work with XCEED™?
(A) For pre-workout, fantastically. We’ve dubbed it the pre-workout assault strategy because you have energy, mental clarity, focus, pumps and endurance all set up for your workout.

(Q) Can I use BASIC CUTS™ daily?
(A) Yep.

(Q) What is the maximum length of time I can take it for?
(A) During your dieting phase that generally last 6-12 weeks is fine. Then take a nice break from all stimulants for a few weeks.
If you use 2 caps purely fore pre-workout stimulation, there is less of a need to cycle it, but we still generally recommend you do.
